As you drive under the porte-cochère, you’re immediately met with opulence. The artwork in the entry begins the continuous experience of curated art displayed across the property. If you’ve been around for a while, you know we’ve experienced several other Grand Bohemians – this one definitely stands out with more “moody” vibes. I absolutely loved the experience!
Stepping into the lobby you’re greeted with magnificent marble and mosaic tile that create a moody vibe that travels well into the bar, lounge, and rotunda complete with a grand piano. Catch a golden elevator up to your “suite” accommodations.
These rooms are an eclectic, modern and moody interpretation of Floridian flair. Tufted, teal headboards are, in my opinion, part of the art hanging on the walls. Head to a window and push back the luxe curtains to reveal stunning views of downtown Orlando. Talk about a stylish stay! There’s plenty of space to get work accomplished after a good nights rest or continue the rest and relaxation with a long warm bath. We were able to make our own in-room spa experience thanks to some goodies from the Poseidon Spa – located inside the hotel.
Hungry? No problem – treat yourself to The Boheme downstairs – a AAA four diamond restaurant. This culinary experience tickles the taste buds while bringing/offering all of your fine dining staples to the table. Its a culinary experience that makes you feel like you’re mouth is on an international trip. There’s plenty of surprises around the corner. Want dinner and a show? Order the Tableside Tomahawk for a performance like no other! And don’t forget the great cocktails, perfectly tailored wine list, and lots of art to enjoy during your experience.
Looking to catch more rays than zzz’s? Head to the all white and gold palatial pool complete with crystal chandeliers – palm trees included! We absolutely loved enjoying the pool on both of our trip and right before catching our flight. This is also a great spot for events, weddings, etc. I even got a little work accomplished.
From top to bottom, this sprawling spot has everything necessary for a staycation or vacation – sun included! So, if your destination is downtown Orlando, stay nowhere else but the Grand Bohemian Orlando. We are so grateful to have had some time to relax after our big western adventure. This property was fantastic and their team went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Orlando!
