Hey there!  I’m Louis, a 32-year-old storyteller, style enthusiast, and founder of The Bow Tie Gentleman.

This journey started years ago in Greenville, South Carolina, where I first dipped my toe into blogging and sharing my love for fashion, design, and local culture. From there, I spent years building a life and a voice in Charleston, a city that sharpened my sense of hospitality, aesthetics, and storytelling.

After a short chapter in Birmingham, Alabama, I eventually found myself back in Charleston before embracing a new adventure: life in Ohio.

Now based in Columbus, I’m continuing to grow this platform, not just as a digital creator, but as a creative entrepreneur and founder of The Bow Tie Group, a full-service marketing studio with deep roots in community storytelling and brand elevation.

The Bow Tie Gentleman has always been more than a blog. It’s a curated digital space to connect, inspire, and highlight the best in lifestyle, travel, entrepreneurship, and local gems across the South and the Midwest.

Whether I’m sharing a hidden coffee shop in Lancaster, styling a rooftop brunch in Columbus, or documenting homeownership adventures with my partner and our three dogs, my goal is the same: to celebrate thoughtful living with charm, intention, and creativity.
